Good stuff about our album Many Moons:

I Guess I’m Floating: “… a wild mix of baroque electro pop, experimental psych rock and glam all swirling and multicolored and bright. There’s more to explore in this album’s 10 songs than in most albums… and isn’t that what music is all about?”

Smoke Don’t Smoke: “I feel a summer anthem going on.”

Ears of the Beholder: “The album roller coasters from penetrating pop tunes to memorable deep cuts, with the consistent charm of a Phoenix record.”

Their Bated Breath: “These 10 songs are the type you get lost in, built on Mike Fish’s tangible vocal fragility, that at times feels like heartbreak… Fish’s vocals float above the instrumentation like gasoline fumes atop a tarmac — smokey, steamed with his phrases elegantly drawn out. This album is highly recommended. A joy to listen to.”

Radiated Sounds: “Many Moons is 10 tracks of funky pop songs that are guaranteed to fit any summer playlist. Each track is vastly different, while still allowing Mike Fish’s strong voice to standout. I imagine driving around my town, windows rolled down, blasting this album… Definitely recommended.”

Think Or Smile: “Some eclectic yet extremely cohesive jams for all your summer feelings.”

Heard Instinct: “Many Moons is all sorts of fantastic; it’s compiled of tracks that can stand their own and compliment each other very well which is no easy feat… I just want to know how they do it, really. How is it possible for so many well crafted pop/rock/somewhat-psych/funk jams to be in one place?”

Mostly Junk Food: “… reminds me of Junior Boys, Local Natives, Foster The People and other bands I dig. Really great, consistent summer record. Haven’t been this enamored with a discovery since my fling with Hooded Fang last year.”

The New Black: “… Death Cab’s answer to happiness and Ace of Base’s long lost cousin, with a pinch of Lord Huron and Avi Buffalo thrown in for good measure. There was something else that I couldn’t pinpoint, and I’ve got to say it’s a mix of Lionel Ritchie and the Beatles. That would have been one sick collab… The entire record deserves some serious love. Moody pop funk, and soulful harmonies never sounded so good. Just in time for summer.”

Dance Yerself Clean: “Like seriously this is one disc full of eargasms up the wazoo… Dakotafish will be loved by fans of Coconut Records, Givers and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. And well everyone should just give “Many Moons” a chance because your ears will so thank you! Seriously.”
